JUNE 2009
ANNUAL FUNDRAISING DINNER
On Saturday 30th May the SBCO held its first Annual Fundraising Dinner with over 130 dinner guests
dressed in Pirate theme.
Guests were treated to movie scores from "Pirates of the
Caribbean' while they enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner which was cooked and served by SBCO members.
Best dressed female pirate was awarded to Aimee Smith, Brisbane and best dressed male pirate to Thom Kennedy
from Haly Creek.
The event was very successful and the SBCO are planning to hold their 2nd
Annual Dinner with a different theme in 2010.
Proceeds from the 2009 event will fund 2010 Tour to Goondiwindi where the Orchestra plan to present a showcase of music to residents of Goondiwindi and
surrounding areas.

We are currently in need of Clarinet Players. If you are aged between 0 and 100 years and are at Grade 3 level or
